Macky 2, Holstar, Cleo Ice Queen, Chef 187 and Bombshell Grenade have made Zambian proud after they were named on the Chain Rap Blog Africa's Top 100 African Rappers of 2021.
The five rappers made huge progress in their music career in 2021. For instance, Bombshell Grenade stepped out in her full hip hop regalia and served a tantalizing single ‘Assassin’ before putting out a new album ‘Mfumu Kadzi’.

The new album put her on a pedestal as she focuses on women empowerment – particularly those in the villages.
For Macky 2, ‘Danger Zone Reunion’ and ‘Alabalansa’ are among the great works he released.
On his part, Chef 187 stood out with his ‘Like a Blesser’ hit featuring his sister Towela Kaira.
Every year, the music industry introduces a slew of fresh faces to the public. There is a wide range of experience levels among rappers, from those who have been around for decades to those who have only been involved in the genre for a short time.
