Celebrated Ugandan deejay, DJ Shiru has teamed up with fast-rising musician Jovi Pop on a new song dubbed 'Dembe Lyo'.
In 'Dembe Lyo' (loosely translated from Luganda to mean 'Your Choice'), Jovi Pop gives her man every right to do whatever he pleases with her.

The audio was produced by Kukie Pan and the video shot and directed by Nako Mowzey from Mo Filmz. The colorful video was shot in a night club and features a unique well-crafted dance choreography.
Narrating how they linked up for this project, Jovi Pop noted that it is her management who made it possible for her to work with an artist she has always admired.
"I had always wanted to work with DJ Shiru and I alerted my management who made it happen. I'm so happy because I like him and his work. Ever since I was young, I used to follow him," Jovie said.

DJ Shiru says he was still pushing his new album when he was approached by Jovi's management for the collaboration and didn't hesitate.
"I gave in because you never know what may come out,” Shiru said.
DJ Shiru is one of the few established artists who have vowed to help young talents achieve their dream.
"As long as you have good work, I will work with you because I appreciate new talent. If you are talented and not proud, I'm willing to do a song with you," he said.
