Karole Kasita: I want to be Remembered as Uganda’s Greatest Stage Performer

Ugandan dancehall artist Karole Kasita has opened up on the legacy she wants to leave behind, noting that she wants to be remembered as one of the best stage performers the country has ever had.

Speaking during an interview with BBS TV, the 'Yaka' hit maker said she always tries her best to put up an electrifying show, leaving a mark on the audience.

"I always make sure I put up a good show. Even when someone books me, I make sure I rehearse so hard that they won't forget they saw me on that stage. Even when I go to support any artist, I want people to notice my performance," she said.

According to Kasita, fans pay lots of money to see her perform, therefore she always gives her best to ensure the audience get value for their money.

"I carry as many dancers as I can, plus the whole band if I have to. If I come alone, I'll either undress or leave my hair on that stage but I want my fans to enjoy my performance,” she opined.

A number of artists have done some really crazy things on stage just to please their fans, and Karole doesn't rule out the possibility of such. She says as long as the crowd is hyped up, she is ready go an extra mile to entertain them.

"It depends on the vibe, if the crowd is excited, I will do extra things. I go in whatever direction they want me to," Karole stated.
