Wizkid's winning streak continues after he bagged two awards at the MOBO Awards 2021.

Still enjoying global attention with his Grammy-nominated album 'Made In Lagos', WizKid made it two-out-of-two, after winning all the categories he had been nominated for.

He was named the winner of Best International Act, a category that also included Drake, Kanye West, Lil Nas, Megan Thee Stallion, Polo G and Doja CAT. The 'Essence' hitmaker also beat Davido, Burna Boy, Tems, Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Ckay to take home the Best African Act category.

The MOBO Awards 2021 ceremony was held at Coventry Building Society Arena on December 5, 2021. The event was hosted by multi-platinum-selling artist and actress Leigh-Anne Pinnock and comedian and broadcaster Munya Chawawa, with special guest host Eddie Kadi, who presents BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Official UK Afrobeats Chart Show.

The show featured performances from Ghetts, Pa Salieu, Stefflon Don, Ms Banks, Bree Runway, Potter Payper, Tems, NSG and ENNY.

MOBO Awards is an annual British music award presentation honouring achievements in 'music of black origin', including hip hop, grime, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music.
