Makhadzi Wins ‘Best Artist in Africa Electro’ AFRIMA 2021 Award

South African musician Makhadzi has won an AFRIMA award under the Best Artist, duo or group in the African Electro category.

It is another of her success in the last couple of months as she steadily rises to become a star in South Africa.

Her label Open Mic Productions congratulated her for the huge milestone she has made in the industry.

“Help us congratulate the African Queen @MakhadziSA under this tweet for winning Best Artist, duo or group in the African Electro category,” Open Mic tweeted.

Her followers also trooped in with congratulatory messages. “Congratulations @MakhadziSA, You showed Us that even when you can’t walk, you can Kokovha till your destination. Well Done,” a fan told her.

Last week, she won the Feathers Award 2021 and dedicated it to her fans and the LGBTQ community for always supporting her music career.

“Congratulations to myself for Winning this award. Is not just an award but a blessing... I hope and believe that this award is opening a way to receive more award this year.

“All thanks to my fans and @featherssa awards, to the glorious LGBTQ+ community for blessing me with a first award in 2021. It is not easy to make people dance during this pandemic… it is not easy to make people smile after lots of them they lost their job and their loved ones,” she posted.
