South Africa RnB crooner Donald Moatshe’s new album ‘Dreams’ is a screaming imagery of the good, the bad and the ugly about love. It is a perfectly blended album featuring the likes of Amapiano star Lady Du and acclaimed international singer Jussie Smollet.

Although Donald is known for his RnB tunes, he has touch of piano in the album – ‘Inkanyezi’ featuring Lady Du speaking volumes. This is his fifth studio album.

He recently told News24 in an interview that love theme is something that inspires his music because it is all around him.

“Love is who I am. Not just in the romantic sense, but when it comes to family and friendships. If you’ve noticed you’ll see that when you love someone, you’re more patient and considerate compared to when you don’t.

“So, I feel like I can’t write about anything else. As humans when if we were centered around love, we'd have a better experiences with each other. That’s why I write about love, not just the good, but also the bad. Because it can definitely have its downside,” he says.

His inclusion of Amapiano was out of the love he has for House music, and Yano gives him this in addition to deep music. Although he carved a niche in RnB, he says he doesn’t want to be confined to one genre.

However, he is in RnB to stay but will always try different sounds to keep Mzansi fully entertained. “I will never move away from RnB,” he says.
