Cassper Nyovest Ridicules Costa Tich for Performing Amapiano Song in Cape Town

The Showdown between South African rappers Costa Tich and Cassper Nyovest is far from over. On Sunday, Cassper hit out at Costa following a video of him performing an Amapiano song in Cape Town.

Costa was in for a concert and chose to perform an entirely different genre – Amapiano – which he has been dissing Cassper for.

A few months ago, he indirectly attacked Cassper for choosing Amapiano genre. The ‘Thembi’ hit maker asked those who he felt ‘betrayed’ SA hip-hop to stay off the genre.

“SA Hip Hop is uniting right now. If you jumped ship, stay there and let us fix what you broke. –respectfully,” posted the ‘Super Soft’ singer.

Now, Cassper took a moment to tell him off saying that if Costa feels Amapiano, he can as well join the bandwagon and not speak from both ends of his mouth.

“This broer said he is saving SA hip-hop mos. I find him performing a new piano song in Cape Town here. Hahaha, le tla bolaiwa ke tlala Boyz! [you'll starve to death] Just shut up and make music! Skatlao phapa! [don't be forward] Hahaha ke shule!” he wrote.

He adds: “Hahaha Piano e nale mas*pa![is the sh*t] You can't fight it! You actually shouldn't have to fight it 'cause piano is ours! We are South African! All we should be doing is supporting and pushing it forward!”
