Ugandan rapper Recho Rey has opened up on how she’s been able to go through hard times occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic, noting that it has been an uphill task for her due to lack of a management.

Recho Rey has had a fair share of tough times during the lockdown period.  She signed under JR Management in 2020, but parted ways with them few months later due to lack of adequate funds.

According to Recho Rey, the management lacked funds to guarantee returns off her projects at a time when shows had been banned in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking during an interview with Celeb Jazz, Recho Rey said life hasn't been easy, but she has successfully gone through the situation.

"This life hasn't been easy but I have faith. I try so much not to worry about things I can't control. I don't stress myself but believe things will work out. I'm fine and still pushing.

"Many people are focusing on what is going on right now and forgetting what they want in life. If you ask God, everything will work out on its own timing. I don't force things to happen and don't put myself under pressure."

Despite not releasing any new projects over the past few months, Recho Rey believes she is successful and content with what she has achieved musically.

"I'm successful in what I'm doing right now and I'm content with whatever I have right now. Things may not be going the way I want them to be, but I feel successful and I'm grateful," Recho Rey noted.
