Recho Rey in Search of New Management after Parting Ways with JR Music

Ugandan rapper Recho Rey has announced that she is in search of a new management following her separation with JR Music Management.

Recho Rey signed under JR Management in 2020 and released her viral hit dubbed 'Seeka'. However, a few months later, she confirmed parting ways with the label due to lack of adequate funds.

According to Recho Rey, the management lacked funds to guarantee returns off her projects now that shows have been banned in the country due to corona virus pandemic.

"We are not working together and the main reason behind this is finances. It is not easy to push through this period of time without knowing where the money is going to come from," Recho Rey said.

She is, however, determined to push forward with her music despite lacking a management team.

"I'm not working with anyone and if anyone is interested in working with me, I'm ready and open to any offer or any partnership,” she divulged.

As to whether she is willing to return to Apple music; her previous managers before she joined JR Music, the youngster says she is willing to return to Apple music so long as there is sufficient money to invest on her.

"If he has the money to invest in me because the most important thing right now is investment because there is a lot to be dealt with especially as a female artist. So if someone is coming through to work with me, they have to be committed," she opined.
