2021 has been a good year for a number of Naija musicians some of which have been able to make a name for themselves in the international scene.
One of the Nigerian singers still enjoying global attention is Ckay courtesy of his 2019-released 'Love Nwantiti'.
Wizkid's Essence Reaches New Peak On Billboard Hot 100
This is a single taken off Ckay's second EP 'Ckay The First' with the remix featuring Nigerian singer Joeboy and Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene.
'Love Nwantiti' (Ah Ah Ah) was released in 2020 but it has become commercially successful in 2021, charting across Europe, Australia, Latin America, and New Zealand as well as reaching number one in India, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland.
'Love Nwantiti' also gained popularity across TikTok, peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart and reached number one on the UK Indie Singles Chart.
It further made an entry into the US Billboard Hot 100 and appeared on the Canadian Hot 100.

The single is already certified Gold in France after registering over 100,000 sales.
This week on the US Billboard Hot 100, 'Love Nwantiti' has peaked at #31, expanding its presence in the chart for four weeks.
An official music video for the single which premiered on April 2020 currently has over 80 million YouTube views.
Love Nwantiti is an Igbo slang that is used to describe the feeling of being in love.
