Wizkid's Essence Reaches New Peak On Billboard Hot 100

International hit single ‘Essence’ has reached a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The record which features Tems and Canadian singer Justin Bieber has enjoyed massive airplay since its release. It peaked at #10 last week and for the new week, the song moves one position up to #9 this week on the chart.

‘Essence (Remix)’, a record off the Made in Lagos album (Deluxe) has now spent two weeks in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and an impressive 15 weeks on the global chart.
The Billboard Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by Billboard magazine. Chart rankings are based on record sales, radio play, and online streaming in the United States.

The single has also already been certified Platinum in the US by The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), a feat that made the song the fastest from an Afrobeats artist to get.
Wizkid dropped ‘Essence (Remix)’ on August 13, 202, and the song’s official audio posted on YouTube has over 12 million views,
The original ‘Essence’ housed in the Made In Lagos album released on October 30, 2020, has an official music video that premiered about 6 months ago – and the visuals has over 38 million views on YouTube.
