Zambian musician Rich Bizzy has released a Zambian Amapiano song dubbed ‘Pambale’  featuring South Africa’s yano king Mapara A Jazz.

‘Pambale’ also features other members of the John Vuli Gate Crew besides the Acclaimed Mapara A Jazz. Other South African artists featured include Ntosh Gazi, and Pearlysane.

Rich Bizzy in his beyond-Zambian-borders collaborations sought out after South African artists to bring Amapiano flavor home.

It is the first of its kind in Zambia while it is a mainstay genre in South Africa. Amapiano was first discovered in South Africa in 2012 but nothing much was done to promote it. Essentially, Amapaino is a sound fused from deep house music, jazz and lounge music.

The genre’s sound is characterized by high-pitched piano sounds and percussive sounds still identifying South Africa. Amapiano remained off the playlists for years until a few years back when Amapiano godfathers – DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small – among others.

Now, it has spread to many African countries and though Zambia is within Southern Africa, not much of Zed Piano has been heard. But, Rich Bizzy seems to be the man changing this trajectory together with his label Kalandanya Music Promotions (KMP).

His fans lauded this song saying that it is now elevating Zambia’s music status. “This wonderful. Zambia to the world Indeed the boss is back,” Royd Likezo said.

“The way I love John Vuli Gate.....Zambia to the world we have exported,” Bartholomew Kamleu said.
