DJ Tira Responds to Critics Questioning his Contribution to Mzansi Music Industry

Veteran South African artist DJ Tira has responded to critics who’ve been claiming that he’s done little for the Mzansi music industry despite being around for the past 21 years.

For the better part of Tuesday October 12, Mzansi had so much to say regarding DJ Tira’s contribution to South Africa’s music industry. The tweep ‘Minister One’ shared a collage of four images of Tira, DJ Black Coffee, Kabz De Small and DJ Maphorisa.

He then asked fans to ‘delete’ one of them who they feel have done less in supporting South Africa’s music industry. It is then that some tweeps quickly said that they would remove Tira who has been in the game for 21 years.

His name was mentioned repeatedly forcing his fan base to come through in his defense. While responding to the criticism, Tira said he is not about to stop with his journey.

He says his focus remains on showing the next generation that everything is possible.

"I'm going to keep on going just to show the next generation it's possible. Never listen to the noise, focus on your journey and rock them like the rockstar that you are. No one can dim your light. Pray and f#&@ ishhh up! Makoya Bearings,” he wrote on his Instagram page.
