For years now, Cassper Nyovest and fellow rapper AKA have been beefing, with each claiming that he is the King of South African Hip-hop.

The two high-flying artists go at each other on every opportunity that they get. A while back, a fan made fun of an incident where AKA slapped Nyovest and he allegedly froze. While this is true, Cassper says that his decision not to fight back is his biggest strength and the best strategy for his brand.

“I don't regret that day I walked away after being slapped the cheap shot way. It was the wise thing to do. I was a joke that day. I protected my brand and kept it clean. Everything worked out for me. Look at my life dawg!!! IM RICH AF!!! Who's laughing now?” he said in response.

However, he has been pushing for a boxing match with AKA for a while now, just to settle scores with the rapper. However, his push has been futile in what he says is “AKA chickening out”.

Going forward though, Cassper will not push for the fight in what he says is in respect to his father’s advice who asked him to let it pass.

“When I really wanted to fight AKA he kept running and making excuses. Then the unfortunate happened and its just not a good look to fight him now. My dad called me and asked me to let that one go, for him. It's not the same. I wanted the arrogant sh** talking AKA like I want Kaybee,” he said.
