Cassper Nyovest Revisits Being Assaulted by AKA, Says he has no Regrets

Celebrated South African artist Cassper Nyovest has revisited an incident where he was assaulted by his nemesis AKA, and chose not to retaliate.

Speaking for the first time since the incident, Cassper said that his decision not to punch back was intentional. He says he walked away with shame but protected his brand from being soiled.

“AKA slapped you and you froze. It easy to talk Casper but at end of the day you got slapped and froze,” a tweep identified as Oldernow1 tweeted.

In his response, Cassper explained the he does not regret walking away on that day. “I don't regret that day I walked away after being slapped the cheap shot way. It was the wise thing to do. I was a joke that day. I protected my brand and kept it clean. Everything worked out for me. Look at my life dawg!!! IM RICH AF!!! Who's laughing now?” he posed.

Until his recent switch from Hip-hop to Amapiano, Cassper and AKA were beefing over who is the King of South African Hip-hop.

The public assault marked the culmination of their beef, with a section of fans arguing that AKA soiled his brand when he decided to slap Nyovest.
