The fallout between Bruno K and Black Market records took a new twist over the weekend when the label’s legal representatives served Bruno with court papers while he was on a live TV show.

According to Lukman from Agaba & Co. Advocates, the singer was summoned for defamatory remarks he allegedly made against Shadrack and Tony Ocean from lack Market records.

On being handed the envelope, Bruno K boldly told Lukman off, also assuring him that he won’t bow down to intimidation.

"You can't serve me on a weekend but I can give you my lawyers' numbers. I know the law very well. There's nothing that these guys can do to me," Bruno K said as he read out the lawyers' numbers live on TV.

Elgon Associates lawyer Nahabwe who was seated in the audience also supported Bruno K advising Lukman to serve the artist's lawyers.

"It's not right to serve someone live on air and during the weekend. It's not allowed. They should serve his lawyers as he prefers,” Nahabwe commented.

Following the drama, Bruno K vowed to defend himself until justice is served.

"These people will not intimidate me because not at any one time have I defamed them. I will defend myself in court even if it means taking my life. They work for a company that robbed me and I'll never change my statements," Bruno opined.

Bruno K and Black Market Records fell out a few months back after the artist accused the label of stealing his music and royalties. In return, the label threatened to sue him for alleged defamation.
