Prince Benza Bags 3 Nominations in 2021 Limpopo Music Awards

Fast-rising Mzansi musician Prince Benza’s star continues to shine bright after he recently secured three Limpopo Music Awards 2021 (LIMA21) nominations.

Prince, an Open Mic Productions signee was nominated in three categories namely; Best Male Artist, Best New Comer and Best Song of the Year.

Open Mic congratulated Prince on his new milestone. “Congratulations to @BenzaPrince for bagging three Nominations at the #Lima21 awards.”

Prince who doubles up as a producer recently featured in Makhadzi’s hit single ‘Ganama’. He is quickly following in the footsteps of great artists from Limpopo among them Makhadzi, Master KG among others.

His label touts him as “The next big thing to come out of Limpopo, a rising superstar.”

Limpopo Music Awards was founded by Raymond Shihawu with the intent to promote music by Limpopo born artists.

“The vision of LIMA: To take music to greater horizons outside the regional and provincial borders,” a vision statement on LIMA’s website reads.

Further it aims “To be the most prestigious and most sought after music Awards in Limpopo and Southern Africa, by the artists, sponsors, and music lovers. Promoting excellence in Music. to transform the image of Limpopo’s music, into a top quality and World class music industry.”
