Nigerian Afropop singer-songwriter Yemi Alade has shared the official music video for the single ‘Sweety’. The music video was presented by Yemi Alade’s Effyzzie Music group on September 20, 2021.

Directed by Ovie, the colourful music video was shot in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and sees Yemi Alade glitter in a variety of outfits with scenes switching beautifully from well-designed yellow dress while on the streets of Addis Ababa to pink as she performed on a ship and later in the evening riding a boat. ‘Sweety’ is a love song and the video perfectly compliments it. 

The song is housed in a recently released 7-track EP ‘Queendoncom’ that was made available on August 13, 2021. The EP is generally a warm and vibrant collection with a cumulative 22 minutes.

This is the first official music video for a single off the EP that was a follow-up to the 2020-released ‘Empress’ album.
