Fast-rising Kenyan artist Jowie Irungu has released a new song dubbed ‘Juu’.
‘Juu’ is a groovy gospel song in which Jowie sings about his eternal reliance on God. Expounding his message with crisp vocals, Jowie explains that if he wakes up tomorrow with nothing, and finds himself in darkness after losing his light, he will not lose hope but instead look up to God for guidance.
Taking inspiration from Psalm 23:4 which reads, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me,” Jowie reiterates that God will pour blessings unto him abundantly.
The video tells the story of Jowie having a big day at work, where he makes a presentation to a group of managers. Afterwards, he gets worried that his project was not approved, but surprisingly receives a call confirming that his presentation was successful.

‘Juu’ has been received well and already has over 20,000 views on YouTube. Giving their feedback about the song in the comment section, fans praised the vibe in the song with others thanking Jowie for blessing them with good music.
“Woow I’m in love with the song, such a vibe,” one fan reacted with another one adding, “Thanking God for you and for blessing us with your music, Glory and Honor unto him, anakupeleka far Jowie, keep trusting in Him.”
