Nigeria singer-songwriter Brymo has released a surprise two-in-one album.

The double album titled ‘Esan’ and ‘Harmattan & Winter’ was made available across multiple digital stores on September 9, 2021.

While sharing the artworks of the album, the 35-year-old singer said; “Now in stores and streaming!!!” The double album, where each houses 9 tracks in line with the artwork comes as a surprise since Brymo had not spoken of any upcoming new project recently.

Songs in the album sample a variety of genres from Folk, R&B, Ballads and Alt with MikkyMe Joses and BigFootInYourFace listed as producers.

According to Pulse Nigeria, ‘Esan’ which is the title of one of the albums is a Yoruba word for revenge while ‘Harmattan & Winter’ is a term that symbolizes the transition from insufficiency to sufficiency.

In this double album, Brymo addresses a number of topics among them healing and heartbreak. ‘Esan’ has a listening time of 25 minutes while ‘Harmattan & Winter’ has a 27-minute listening time.

Brymo who released his debut studio album ‘Brymstone’, in 2007 had two projects in 2020, the ‘Yellow’ album and Libel EP.
