Nigerian pop singer Adekunle Gold has finally released his highly anticipated new single he has been actively promoting on his social media pages for some time now.  The new single which was made available on digital music platforms on September 3, 2021, is titled 'High'.

On 'High', Adekunle Gold teamed up with one of the biggest African artists Davido and they both delivered a banging tune, a potential hit record.

The new song has a good vibe and sound, beautifully blending the now popular African genre Afrobeats and Amapiano which has lately been gained a lot of popularity in Nigeria. 

While officially introducing 'High' to his social media fans, Adekunle Gold said the new song is produced by Pheelz. "HIGH feat @davido out now worldwide! Produced by @pheelzmrproducer," he tweeted.

'High' now serves as the third official single that Adekunle Gold has released this 2021. The song follows up on the previously released hits 'This Is What It Is' and 'Sinner' whose visuals featured his wife, Simi.

With the release of the new song, it is just a matter of time before we know whether Adekunle Gold has a new album in the pipeline this year or not. His last LP Afro Pop Vol 1 came in August 2020 which defined a slight switch in music style from Highlife to Afropop with hit singles such as 'Something Different' and 'AG Baby'.
