Nina Roz Confirms Splitting with Black Market Records

Ugandan artist Nina Roz has confirmed that she has parted ways with Black Market Records less than a year after joining the label.

Speaking during a recent interview, Nina Roz claimed that she did everything that was required of her as an artist under the label, but was still surprised that the management confiscated her YouTube logins.

"I did my job of promoting the label as my partners and they chose to pay me by confiscating my YouTube channel. I'm fighting this war with my lawyers because I can't do it on my own. I don't know why my channel was suspended, but these are the people I trusted during my music journey," Nina Roz said.

Before joining Black Market Records, Nina Roz was signed under Sure Events which took over her bookings, concerts and promotions. She, however, Sure Events five months after joining, opting to move to Black Market.

She may have fallen out with Black market Records, but she doesn't regret ever leaving Sure Events at any one point.

"I don't regret anything in life. I take a lesson from everything I go through, whether good or bad," Nina Roz said.

Nina Roz is currently riding solo and says will be on the lookout for another label with time.
