Nina Roz Embarks on Mission to Nurture Rising Ghetto Artists

Ugandan artist Nina Roz has vowed to help rising artists from the ghetto to achieve their dreams by lending a hand where necessary. During the Behind The Scenes video of her collaboration with Oxygenius, Nina Roz revealed that she has a mission of helping promising talents to shine by offering them collaborations.

The Black Market Records artist has released chart topping collaborations with big artists and believes it is now time to offer a helping hand to the raw talent, the same way she was granted a chance while starting out her music career.

"I have a mission to help young artists. I believe the ghetto has a lot of super talented rising artists because this is where I came from. It is a blessing because they are talented.

"I work with an unknown talent because I was also given a chance when no one knew me. So I look forward to lighting another candle and having a number of Nina Roz's shining as part of my legacy," she said.

Nina Roz grew up in the suburbs of Kampala and she has severally talked about her struggles during previous interviews. She uses her story to encourage youngsters to have hope and never give up.

"I encourage all the ghetto youths never to give up. This is where you should start dreaming because it is never easy out there in the streets. Everything needs time, if it is the right time, it will be your time to shine," she added.
