EXCLUSIVE: The Official TOP 25 Most Downloaded Artists On Mdundo 2014

"It has been a great year for African music and we believe that the industry is moving rapidly in the right direction." These are Martin Nielsen's words, CEO Mdundo.com, as the platform releases the list of its most downloaded artist 2014.
Sautisol have been confirmed as the most downloaded between July and December 2014.
The legal digital music distribution platform in Africa has been in operation since November 2012 and generates majority of its revenue from advertisers. In 2014, 64% of total revenue was allocated to 3,999 content owners across Africa. The Total Mdundo investment in the African music industry is 25,000,000 since 2012.
Aside from providing a useful service for music loving mobile users, Mdundo is also helping to raise the profile of East African artists.
