Veteran Kenyan gospel artist Daddy Owen has released a new song dubbed ‘Neema Yake’.

‘Neema Yake’ is an upbeat song that talks about the sufficiency of the Grace of God. Reminding Brethren to keep their hope in God, Daddy Owen gives all the praise and glory to God for all He has done and will continue to do in his life.

The video features clean shots of dancers who jam to the song, as Daddy Owen delivers the melody.

Taking to Instagram to announce the premiere of the song, Daddy Owen thanked his day one fans who have been supporting him for the past 19 years that he has been in the music industry, adding that he does music only for God, and not for views, likes, money, or fame.

“Hey fam, for years u guys have supported me and I don't take it for granted, one thing I know is that I have been doing this for 19 years now and I do it for one purpose only- to serve the Lord! I am not here for views, likes, money, or fame.. with or without all the things I have always continued to spread the Word Of God!” he captioned.

‘Neema Yake’ has been received well and already has thousands of views on YouTube in just a few hours. In addition to the views, fans also took to the comment section to react to the song, with many reiterating the message of Grace from the jam, while others took the golden opportunity to welcome the king of Kapungala back to the game.

“Indeed it's by God's grace that we are where we are today. Great song Daddy Owen,” one fan reacted, with another adding, “Welcome back Daddy Owen. Neema ikutoshe. You are a blessing.”
