In a now deleted tweet, Kabz informed Mzansi that he was well and not dead as had earlier been speculated.

Amapiano star Lady Du termed the loss of the two artists a personal blow to her as well as the industry.

“It’s soooo painful to have your heart broken like that then you get calls from people wanting to find out from you what’s happening. I’m shuttered I can’t talk I don’t even know how I’ll work today. When people are going through a tough time kindly give them space,” she posted.

She added that her “celebrity heart” is no longer there with the news of the passing on of such close friends.

“We are no celebrities, when we are in pain,” she added.
