KiDi Speaks on a possible collaboration with Diana Hamilton

Ghanaian Highlife star, Kidi has disclosed his intention of doing a collaboration with the talented gospel musician and current VGMA artiste of the year, Diana Hamilton.
 
In an interview with Power Entertainment on Power 97.9 FM, Kidi revealed that he doesn't have a personal relationship with the artist but won’t decline an offer to get in the studio with her.

‘I don’t have any personal relationship with Aunty Diana but I’ve met her one, two times at interviews but I don’t have her number, Oh I will really love it, if only she will agree to that. You see gospel musicians sometimes don’t want to collaborate with circular artiste but if she’s down for it, I’m also down for it.’

Expounding, on the ongoing issue of gospel artists being reluctant  to work with secular artists.’Touch It ‘ hitmaker stated,’ We know it, the gospel artiste thinks this person is, that person is that .. don’t mix the two but if she wants to do it I’m always down.’

His remarks have come after some of the circular  Ghanaian artists have attested a discord with gospel counterparts in producing collaborative projects. Earlier in the year, Eno Barony lamented her disappointment as five gospel artists turned down her request of adding their voices to her jam ‘Aseda.’
