Take My Heart
This was a cover song and a tribute for General Ozzy. ‘Take My Heart’ was originally written by Chali Bravo and sang by Ozzy featuring Ugandan legendary duo Radio & Weasel. When she did the cover, it was a birthday gift for the Zambian crooner. Her vocals are pitch high, but in sync with the acoustics.
Nyimbo Zako
Wezi chose a Swahili title to the song meaning “Your songs”. It celebrated mothers who go out of their way to raise their children against all odds and providing for them the best they can in life. It was one of the tracks in her debut EP ‘Uhai’.
Buy My Love
This song is what you would best describe as a soul/RnB Classic. Wezi has the power to evoke emotions in her songs which makes them very relatable. In ‘Buy My Love’, she demonstrates that love is priceless and you cannot buy it with money no matter how rich you are.
African King
“Everything changes when we fall in love" she says. And this is all about serenading that special man in your life. The song is deep, affectionate and informative too. You just love right with it.
Munanitema
She featured the sassy and talented Cleo Ice Queen in the RnB hit. ‘Munanitema’ is all about positivity in life and focusing ahead no matter what critics say.
