Mr Eazi Pushes Release of His Album To 2022

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has announced that his highly anticipated album will not be dropping this year.

It had earlier been thought that the 29-year-old singer who will be turning 30 on July 19, was to unveil his album before the end of this year but in a recent post shared on all his major social media platforms, Mr Eazi who is the pioneer of Banku music said the album will be coming in 2022.

“Album 2022 Until then Studio & ChopLife,” tweeted the Port Harcourt born singer and founder of emPawa Africa.

Earlier this year, Mr Eazi dropped the ‘Something Else’ EP, a project produced by Killertunes and E Kelly that housed 5 tracks, amongst the records 'The Don' – a dramatic, opera-inspired slice of afro trap that invites listeners into the singer’s ever-expanding world.

‘The Don’ already has an official music video released on April 12, 2021. He also released a second music video off the EP for the single ‘E Be Mad’ on May 17, 2021.

The 2022 album will be a career first for Mr Eazi who has three mixtapes to his name.

He released his debut mixtape  ‘About to Blow' in July 2013. His second mixtape  ‘Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos’  was released on 10 February 2017, followed by ‘Life is Eazi, Vol. 2 - Lagos to London’ released in 20 8).

Mr Eazi who gained an international audience following the release of the Efya-assisted single ‘Skin Tight' had in 2020 released his debut EP ‘One Day You Will Understand’.
