Nigerian singer and songwriter Ruger is in a double celebratory mood following the success of his hit single ‘Bounce’.

The single housed in Ruger’s debut EP ‘Pandemic’ recently became the number one song in Nigeria on Apple Music – a feat the 21-year-old singer couldn’t contain in joy.

“RU NATION!!! FINALLY!!! Bounce is the NUMBER 1 song in NIGERIA and still NUMBER 1 in UGANDA. I can’t contain my joy right now. God is fulfilling his promises to RU NATION. Thank you for sticking with me, thank you for believing in me, thank you for singling me out of the crowd. I love you all RU NATION,” Ruger posted on his Instagram account.

He also appreciated his Jonzing World record label for believing in his abilities and his boss D’Prince for mentoring him.

‘Bounce’ becoming the number one song in the country also coincided with the song’s official music video surpassing 2 million views on YouTube.
