Speaking during an interview with Rev. Erskine on the Y Leaderboard Series that airs on YFM’s Myd-Morning Radio Show, Stonebwoy said that everyone including the government itself has witnessed that their manifestos are not usually fulfilled fully.

He added that while the industry players are working tirelessly, they lack the support of the government to make the industry thrive. They have constantly tried to remind the government to put a little focus on them but they have not been successful. They end up struggling on their own and when they succeed, they take the country's name with them.
He went on to give an example, “If I move across doing my thing and by the grace of God I become a household name, I go along with Ghana”.

"The government must fulfil their promises because, at the end of every four years, they come with manifestos that also address issues in the sector but eventually, it falls someway, somehow”.

Nevertheless, he concluded by saying that he has a lot of faith in the current Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey because he is familiar with the industry.
