Stonebwoy Applauds Ghanaian Musicians For Putting Ghana Music on World Map

Award-winning dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has applauded his fellow local artistes for the good quality of music they are making that has put their country on the world map.

Speaking during an interview with Rev Erskine of d Y107.9FM on the YLeaderboard Series, Stonebwoy said that he hardly listens to music by his colleagues since he is always busy in the studio working on different projects, nonetheless, he leaves his small brother to listen to their music as he samples the best for him to listen to whenever he has some time.

“I always trust my brother to give me some level of craziness when I want to listen to other songs. His responsibility is to play them and I do the listening,” he said on Y107.9FM.

Stonebwoy further disclosed that he gets very surprised at the quality of music that his fellow Ghanaian artistes make, “and surprisingly I find myself asking my brother who these artistes are.”

The ‘Putuu’ hitmaker commended all Ghanaian musicians who have been working hard for the good work they have done to put their country’s flag on the world map. “It is difficult for me to name any artistes but I have big respect for every junior and ranking artiste in Ghana. My big respect to all musicians in the country,” he said.
