Renowned Ghanaian Gospel musician Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle, famously known by his professional name as Joe Mettle, has tipped his colleagues on ways their work can remain relevant in the industry, especially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Joe Mettle offered his advice in an interview on the Springboard Hangout Show with Mrs Comfort Ocran. He began by telling Ghanaian artists to ensure they are well acquainted with technology since it plays a significant role in continuous learning.

He further encouraged them always to remain focused on their dreams and not to be easily distracted. According to the praise and worship singer, although many people claim that they want to succeed and remain relevant in the industry, they tend to tire along the way and give up, particularly when the pressure becomes too much.
“Hard work is part of it. Sometimes, it gets tiring and there are sleepless nights but know that it also comes with sacrifice and that is where you sacrifice your sleep and other things. Sometimes, you’re tired but there’s a deadline that you have to meet for something that you have to do so you sacrifice”, he said.

The “Come Holy Spirit” crooner continued to explain: “That power is the ideas, innovation, creativity and all other things but the Bible says after God has given you the power which is the idea, there’s a process that he’s not part of. You would have to make it yourself and that’s the power to acquire”.
In conclusion, Joe Mettle emphasized the importance for artists to keep upgrading their skills, and working hard, to be able to be successful and remain relevant in the field.
