427 Million Streams: Davido's 'A Better Time' Album In Numbers After 5 Months

Davido's most recent album 'A Better Time' has been streamed over 427 million times across all major digital platforms.

According to the latest streaming statistics shared by the American-born Nigerian singer, five months since the album was released, songs housed in it have received 427.7 million streams cumulatively.

This basically means the 'A Better Time' album is closing in on reaching half a billion streams, barely half a year after release.

A majority of the streams are from Audiomack and Apple Music which has 185 million and 105 million streams respectively.

YouTube accounts for 81 million, Boomplay 29.8 million while the album has 26.9 million streams on Spotify.

The 17-track LP was released in November 2020.

In this album, Davido croons over warm grooves and infectious melodies.

With an ear for both great songwriting and captivating production as well as features with Lil Baby, Young Thug and Nicki Minaj, Davido taps hip-hop aesthetics while proving his status as one of Afrobeats’ biggest stars.

Of the 17 tracks, the most popular ones include 'FEM' which is the lead single, 'Jowo' and 'Holy Ground' in which Davido teamed up with international rapper Nick Minaj.

It is worth mentioning that Davido had in 2020 set a record of being the first Afrobeats singer to have an album hit a billion streams with his 2019-released 'A Good Time'.
