Sadiq Abdulai Abu, the Chief Executive Officer of the 3Music Awards has revealed the dated for the 2020 3Music Awards just a week after the 2021 edition took place.
The 2021 3Music Awards happened on the27th of March at the Accra International Conference Centre which took place virtually and was greatly appreciated by many Ghanaians with the climax of the event being KiDi winning the ‘Artiste of the Year’ award of the night.

According to Sadiq, the preparation for the award scheme takes around eight months to a year before the final event takes place.
In an interview on the ‘Dryne of Your Lyfe’ show of Y97.9FM hosted by Nana Quasi-Wusu Sadiq Abdulai Abu said: “We are always thinking of what to do next year. We have actually set the date for next year which is 6th March, 2022 and we will begin to work towards that as well”.

The CEO hinted that the 2022 3Music Awards event may be different from the public because of the technical hitches they may witness at the blind side of the public. He also added that the problems they encounter during these particular award events normally acts as a motivation for them to do something greater and better.
