The young fast growing Ghanaian drill rapper has recently made milestones in the music industry that has seen him start eyeing for bigger awards with his debut project.
Going from a local developing talent to a nationwide superstar in the a few months, Thorsten Owusu Gyimah is certainly one of the next Ghanaian rappers to shine in the music industry within a short period of time.

Yaw TOG Named BET Amplified for April

Yaw Tog emerged towards the end of 2020 and has become the most talked about artistes in Ghanaian music Industry currently.
His single "Sore" that was released in September 2020, was a hit song from the Kumerica crop that has hit the limelight in a big way, making it one of the benchmark songs of Ghana's drill scene. The song exploded onto the scene, triggering the exposure of the entire genre and its rappers to Ghana and the rest of the world.

A short while later "Sore" was remixed by a powerful UK rapper Stormzy and Ground Up star Kwesi Arthur, doubling down on the popularity of the already massive joint. It's currently sitting at close to 2.9 million views on YouTube. Nonetheless it broke the Ghanaian record by hitting a million views within only three days of its release.
The senior high school student confessed to aiming higher and eyeing for more and better music awards both local and global.
