DMX : Stonebwoy, M.anifest, Efya, E.L, Others Mourn the Death of American Rapper

The death of the renowned American rapper DMX has been felt by artistes from all over the word. Many of them have expressed their grief in different ways. Joining them in mourning, some Ghanaian musicians such as Stonebwoy, M.anifest, Efya, and E.L, have posted to mourn him on social media.
The “Lord Give Me a Sign” hitmaker passed away at on the Friday 9th of April 2021 at the age of 50. He met his death at the White Plains Hospital in White Plains, New York, while receiving treatment, one week after suffering a heart attack.

“We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50 years old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days,” a family member announced his demise.
“Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him.
Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time.”

After the DMX’s death announcement was officially made, some top Ghanaian musicians joined other Americans on social media to mourn the legend.
