Roberto Bags ZIKOMO Award for Zambia’s Best Afro Beat Song

Zambia’s top musician Roberto has emerged winner of the best Afro Beat song at the 2021 ZIKOMO Awards.

Roberto bagged the award for his song ‘African Woman’ which he features his elder brother General Ozzy.

For him, it is a family award since he did the song with his elder brother General Ozzy who taught him a lot about the music industry in Zambia.

“Another award added. Best Afrobeat Song #AfricanWoman ft General Ozzy. Each year brings new blessings. Really thankful to everyone for the overwhelming support. Family + Team Roberto + Friends Thank You.,” he posted on his Facebook page.

Roberto was nominated for the ZIKOMO award in March in two categories; Best Afro Beat Zambia and Best Male Song of The Year. He bagged an award in the first category.

General Ozzy in an elated mood said that their winning will continue. “an’t Staaaaaap won’t Staaaaap,” he said while a string of fans congratulated the duo.

Chizuwa Mulobwana wrote: “Congratulations but bro you are too lethal your talent knows no boundary of wining be it local or international homie you good bless up super star.”
