Zambian music star Roberto has dropped a new jam dubbed ‘Work’ featuring Tanzania’s Ibraah.
‘Work’ is a love song centered on doing everything necessary to make things work in a relationship. What inspired it is a different story but Roberto has in the past said that his songs are inspired by life’s events.

In the new release, Roberto shows his versatility as he tries out some Swahili lyrics mixed with his Zambian native language and a little bit of English.
Being a married man who has been in the union for years now, he understands the meaning of making things work in a relationship.

“I just wanna make it work, can you make it work work work, babe can we make things work…” part of the chorus goes.
The song was produced by Konde Gang Records owned by Harmonize. The label came to be after his fallout with Diamond Platnumz’s Wasafi Records.

Shortly after being released, ‘Work’ went viral in Zambia and is currently trending at number three among the top songs played in the country.
Ibraah is a renowned musician in Tanzania. Working with Roberto on this jam will definitely help the latter increase his following in Bongo land and across East Africa.
