Wizkid’s Manager, Jada P Reacts to the Wizkid Wisekid Music Fraud

Wizkid’s manager, Jada P has promptly released a statement to assure fans that they are working behind the scenes to ensure that all music relating to the malicious Wisekid account is taken down immediately.

“RCA have been actively working on taking down the illegal uploads across all digital platforms from yesterday morning. Relating to the fraudulent “Wisekid” account. Thank you Wizkid FC for your dedication and patience. It does not go unnoticed,” Jada tweeted confirming that they are already on the matter.

Only yesterday, Wisekid’s activity gained more public knowledge after he himself uploaded the statistics from apple music showing that he has accrued almost 10 million views from cloning Wizkid’s album, Made in Lagos. Several reports have it that Wisekid has made about N30m monthly since the release of Made in Lagos which he cloned with the name “Wisekid - Lasgidi Made”.

Wisekid somehow bypassed apple music and some other digital platforms, uploading a tampered version of the same Wizkid songs. No, he did not record his own songs, he uploaded Wizkid’s songs from Made in Lagos with a tweaked name of artist and album. This is definitely a heavy copyright infringement and a criminal offence. He could be wanted if Wizkid’s team and label decide to take further legal actions.
