While collecting the award from Galaxy’s offices, Eddy Kenzo praised the station for being impartial and always recognizing artists who deserve the awards.

"Galaxy has always done things in a legit way, quite different from the rest of Africans who are always biased. You always look at records and reward the reality. If you don't appreciate the good work, it means you are not patriotic enough."

"We shall always trust you and next time when I don't get the award, I will be challenged and know I haven't done well and up my game and do better," Eddy Kenzo said.
