Kalifah Aganaga Vows to Take Ugandan Music to the International Level

Renowned musician Kalifah Aganaga has vowed to take Ugandan music to the international level after getting the opportunity to travel and study more about music abroad.

The Bad Character Records boss recently bagged a scholarship from government and will be majoring in sound engineering for an unspecified period.

Speaking during a recent interview, Kalifah Aganaga promised to do a lot for the music industry in Uganda. Adding that he is willing to promote Ugandan music to the outside world.

"Since I'm studying music, I will spend more time learning. I can promise you that I will take our music to an international level. I will make sure we also raise a Diamond Platnumz hailing from Uganda to at least compete with countries like Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana among others," Kalifah Aganaga said.

To make local music better, Kalifah says upon his return, he should be made senior advisor to Uganda Musicians Associations' board since he will have gained much experience.

Kalifah Aganaga is known for songs like Kiboko Fire ft. Jose Chameleone, Business, Oyitangayo, Gudigude ft. Goodlyfe, Mina Konda, Nassanga among others.
