Valentine’s Day is always a great moment to cherish the loved one and Zimbabwean artistes will only make it better. There are scintillating loves songs that push the affection deeper while feel that their loves has been strengthened even more. This is the beauty of Zimbabwean music talking nothing but love.

Donhodzo – Jah Prayzah
Born Mukudzeyi Mukombe but popularly known as Jah Prayzah in May 2020 got tongues wagging thanks to his “Donhodza” video. There was a lot talent and creativity in the music video which set the bar too high for other Afrobeat artistes. The lyrics to the song are great and entertaining. This was the song of the year for him as it earned him more than three million streams.

Mwana WaMambo – Jah Prayzah
The song speaks lyrically of daily happenings in the lives of young ladies trying to make things work. ‘Mwana WaMambo’ illustrates the struggles of a young man who wishes to marry the King's daughter yet he is not from royal blood lines. Love pushes him to defy the odds and like they say, True love always wins. In real life, it may not always be the king but it could be families in a case of the haves and the haves not, if you may. It is a great song to reassure your loved one on Valentine’s Day.
Te Amo – Roberto Ft Butera Knowless
If there is a song that will always hit the airwaves like it was released yesterday, it will always be “Te Amo”, a classic version of Mexican love in Africa. Everything about “Te Amo” is great, riveting and sends an aura of affection deep into the system.

The 2019 collabo sealed the status of both Winky D and Gemma Griffith in Zimbabwe’s music industry. Mimicking the biblical Garden of Eve, ‘MuGarden’ vibes love and affection above all. The lyrics are inspiring and brings about the power of love in two hearts that are willing.
