Drimz’s Powerful Advice to Newbies in Zambian Music Industry

Zambian singer Drimz recently gave a powerful lesson about life with the take away being the power of a dream. He recalls a time when he was so hungry for success as an artiste that he thought his dream was too big to achieve.

However, life with its surprises has elevated him to a position he never thought he would reach this fast.

Addressing fellow artistes, Drimz urged them not to despise humble beginnings in life because this is what pushed them to success in life.

“Never Despise Humble Beginnings! All I Wanted was To have a Hit Song that would Shake the whole Country and just to have People Say "Ewaimba Lulya" each time I pass especially Tuma girls...But, little did I know that A good (hit) song(s) had the potential to build and change a livelihood for me and people around but only in a consistent fashion,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Drimz shared two of his photos, one from back in the day where he was not as refined as he is now and another one of the Drimz who rocks the beats with style and dresses to kill.

He credited his success to a group of friends who believed in him and encouraged him to keep pushing. His advice: “If you have A dream to make It In Life, It Doesn't Matter Where You Are Today, It Doesn't Matter If Nobody Is Clapping For You Today, Push Yourself Everyday, Motivate Yourself To Do More, Align yourself to your Dream by Working Towards your goal.. “Don't let the Negative Energy kill your Dream, Frustrating Moments are part of the Road (journey) to Success. Trust God and Be Patient It Will Come to Pass. The Beginning may Seem Tough and Rough But If you believe, you will definitely achieve. We All Start From Somewhere.”
