Ragga Dee to Quit Politics if He Loses Again

Legendary Ugandan artist Ragga Dee has vowed to quit politics if he loses again in the Kampala mayoral election.
Speaking during an interview on Spark TV, Ragga Dee who unsuccessfully vied for the seat in 2016 noted that this would be his last shot if he does not emerge victorious.

Addressing the fate of his music career is he wins the seat, Ragaa Dee noted that he can’t ditch as it is in his DNA.
"I'm still an artist and politics is a side thing, just like other Ugandans who have side hustles. Music raised me, I have earned everything I have from it and people got to know my name from music," Ragga Dee said.
In 2016, he contested on the NRM ticket but lost to Erias Lukwago.

This time round Raggae Dee will be facing Lukwago, veteran artist Jose Chameleone and a host of other candidates.
Ragga Dee is hopeful that his massive following and support he has enjoyed thanks to his illustrious music career will transform into votes and make him the next Kampala mayor.
