Nez Long Features Daev in New Song ‘W’

Zambian artiste Nez Long has released his first single to start off the year. Nez Long signed by Black Out media released his new hit dubbed ‘W’ featuring the late Zambian crooner Daev.
‘W’ is a power dose for 2021 challenging people to push themselves hard to make sure that they realise their dreams.
It is off his new EP titled ‘School Fees EP’ which he released in late 2020.

Nez Long enlisted the support of revered producer Mr Stash who worked on the song’s audio.
Since his demise in September, 2020, Daev who was the lead vocalist of XYZ Entertainment has been featured in several other hits.

In December, he featured in ‘Julia’, a song released by Y Celeb. Guytrizzy also featured him in his new song ‘Can Never’.
‘Can Never’ is love song talking of no going back to a lover who is not appreciative or who took all your efforts for granted. Tommy D did a tribute song for Daev ‘Talila Nafuti’ and produced a video for the same in November.
‘Talila Nafuti’ was meant to honour Daev’s memories. A couple of days later, DJ H-MAC relived Daev’s memories in his song ‘Tiliko’ where he also featured Zambian superstars Macky 2 and Slapdee.

Slapdee also featured and dedicated his recently released album ‘Mother Tongue’ to Daev. For Slapdee, ‘Mother Tongue’ is a memento which he is using to celebrate the life of the late 25-year-old hip hop star.
Slapdee in one of his messages regarding the album posted his last photo with Daev and said that ‘Mother ‘Tongue’ is to honour his memories. He noted that Daev worked extremely hard to ensure the album became a success but didn’t live to see its release.
