The bongo music scene has been busy in 2020. Musicians have released several projects, including albums, EPs, and singles. However, some projects were highly anticipated but got postponed for various reasons. This article looks at some of the bongo projects that have failed to see the light of the day in 2020.

Harmonize album
Early this year, Harmonize promised his fans a second album of the year after dropping the ‘Afro East’ project in March. According to Harmonize, the ten-song project was recorded during the quarantine period. He postponed the project due to delayed collaborations.

Diamond ft Wizkid
Early in the year, producer S2kizzy revealed that Diamond had recorded several songs with Nigeria’s Wizkid. Some of the songs were to come out this year. However, Diamond appears to have signed off the year with the ‘Waah’ hit featuring Koffi Olomide.

Mbosso album
In August, Mbosso revealed that his album was ready. In a recent update, Mbosso announced that the album would be released on Valentines’ Day next year. The project is already complete.

Rayvanny album
In September, Rayvanny updated his fans that he has an album ready to be released later this year. However, the singer has not issued any feedback on the project’s progress. He is currently flying high with his number one single featuring Zuchu.

Rayvanny collabos with international artists
After releasing the ‘Flowers EP’, Rayvanny revealed that he has collaborated with musicians from Italy and the United States. However, the singer has not released the collabos. He only featured on ‘Jollof on the Jet’ by DJ Cuppy from Nigeria.
