Rayvanny Set to Drop New Album

Celebrated Tanzanian musician Rayvanny has announced that he is working on his album set to be released soon.

In a post on Instagram, Rayvanny shared the news but did not rebveal the album title, contents or the expected release date, leaving fans guessing.

“Who's ready for my ALBUM 2020?” he posed.

At the moment, Rayvanny has two EPs; ‘Vanny Boy’ and ‘Flowers’ making the upcoming project his debut album.

He is currently flying high with a number of high profile collaborations including;Amaboko ft Diamond Platnumz, Jollof on the Jet ft Dj Cuppy and Rema and lastly Ngongingo ft Baba Levo.

Meanwhile, his fellow Wasafi artiste Mbosso has also announced that he will be droppin an album later this year.

Speaking on Sunday during an interview, Mbosso hinted that the album might come out after the Tanzanian elections.

He noted that once the political temperature calms down, he will have the perfect environment to drop the project.

The WCB singer pointed out that the album will have collaborations from both bongo artistes and international musicians.

He also hinted that he might change his music style in the album.

“Sitaki kuwa na haraka ya kusema nimemushirikisha nani kwenye album hiyo...lakini naamini itakuwa album bora mwaka huu...mashabiki watapata ladha ya muziki tofauti kwenye album hii,” he said.

It has been a busy year for the WCB team with musicians dropping either EPs or albums. Zuchu dropped her EP in March, while Lavalava is expected to drop an EP later this year.
