Celebrated Kenyan artist Rekles has dropped a new jam dubbed ‘Sleki’ featuring Fidel Rayd.

‘Sleki’ is a sheng’ word which means ‘Slack’. The song’s hook puts the phrase in context explaining that: “If you slack, you might die broke”.

The hip-hop themed tune is layered with bars from Rekles. On the other hand, Fidel uses word power to throw a jab at Ssaru for her latest hit song ‘Leo’ featuring Mejja which was released four days ago.

“Ssaru naye anageuka stripper juu ya views, nika aliambiwa ndio aomoke lazima tuone b***s, So (leo) akona (Mejja) problems, kujifanya stripper na nika bado haoni progress,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

The audio for ‘Sleki’ was mastered at Black White Records.

Meanwhile, Rekles has been super consistent with his personal projects creating speculation that he may ditch Ethic.

Over the past few months, he has released several singles and featured on a number of top collabos.

His previous collaboration ‘Sota’ with veteran gengetone artist Mejja is still a fan favorite. The song already has over 770,000 views on YouTube.
