Fast-rising Kenyan gospel musician David Wonder has dropped a new praise song dubbed ‘Najua’.

‘Najua’ is a Swahili word that loosely translates to ‘I Know’ and David Wonder uses it to proclaim that regardless of the challenges he faces in life, he knows that the Lord is on his side.

He narrates his life journey and some of the challenges he faced before becoming a music star, and all notes that all through the rough journey, the Lord was with him.

“Wakati mi sikuwa na kitu Baba, Ulinishikilia… Oh Yesu usinitoe kwenye yako mipango, bila wewe sina mwisho na mwanzo… Swize tena kujificha,  kwangu ndio unabisha, nakukaribisha…” the song’s lyrics read in part.

Listening to the new jam, you get to appreciate the fact that David Wonder has grown over time and is slowly making his way to the crème de la crème of the gospel industry in Kenya.

The song’s lyrics have also been well done, with perfect rhymes that create a nice rhythm all through the song.

So far, only the lyrics video is available online, with the video expected later.

A day after it premiered on YouTube, the video has over 1,500 views an indication that the official video can do much better and become a massive tune.
